Rose Wong (*1988 in Hong Kong) is a visual artist and PhD candidate at Goldsmiths, University of London. Supported by the Goldsmiths Graduate School Grant and the Grant for Cultural Relations Research (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia–PRC), she works across text, painting, sculpture, and participatory research projects. She has won Tiziano Vecellio Painting Academic Jury Award in 2025. Shaped by migration and colonial inheritance, Rose composes collage-like feminist stories that braid everyday life with myth and childlike mark-making. Recent solo exhibitions include A Thousand and One Nights (OM Gallery, Shanghai, 2025) and The Bible of Female Saint (HE Art Foundation, Shunde, 2024). Her work has appeared in London Design Festival (No. Zembla, 2025), Gallery of Australia National Art Institutes ( In Our Time,2024), Beijing Contemporary Art Fair (2023). Her works are held in the Dr Geoff Raby AO Chinese Contemporary art collection, Art Institutes of La Trobe University, and Bridging Hope Art Foundation Collections.
