The stories that Kristina Mésároš tells with her paintings do not end with the last stroke of the painter's brush. They go far beyond that. She adds specific coding to her paintings on a symbolic level in an extremely mysterious way. In doing so, she does not create new mythologies, but utilises existing associations. This is achieved not least through the use of existing film titles, which are used in a new context. Her paintings never remain outside of everyday life, but reflect the artist's experiences with new environments or new life situations.
