Born in Klagenfurt in 1972, visual artist Ina Loitzl's work is primarily concerned with cutting. In video, textiles and also with scissors. Space is also a recurring theme in her installations. She is never concerned with painting, such as with a brush and dabbing or letting colour flow, but with the literal, hard cut, which for her represents the phase of life.
