In her work, Elena Victoria Pastor searches for bridges, intersections and connections between seemingly widely divergent perspectives. For example, between the world views of indigenous people in the Amazon and the philosophical-ecosophical thinking of Central Europe. Through this exploration, she aims to deconstruct the anthropocentric view and promote an integrative horizontality that opens up possibilities for action with a smaller ecological footprint. The Venezuelan artist, who immigrated to Europe from South America in 2014, certainly draws on her own experiences. Her works have been recognised in international exhibitions such as Performance Arts Links in Stockholm, Kunstverein Harburger Bahnhof, Sofia Art Week in Bulgaria and Kunsthaus Hamburg.
