Robert Lozar was born on the 3rd of November, 1967, in Novo Mesto, Slovenia. In 1993, he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana.
From 1995 to 2000, he was the editor-in-chief of the magazine Likovne besede/Art Words. Since 1994, he has been a freelance artist. His studio is in Gradac, Slovenia.
